3. RSVP

With help of the BRA-test you could determine if it was best to look above, below or to the side of the text or picture you wanted to see. RSVP is slightly different. RSVP is short for “Rapid Serial Visual Presentation” and is a method in which you see one word at a time at the same place. The words are presented one at a time at the same position and at various speeds. Practice a number of times until you have good fixation-stability, which means that you can hold your eyes steady in the same direction to one side of the text you are trying to see. This is what we call eccentric fixation.
